Liquid Enhancer

General information: High purity ammonium sulphate is the most effective enhancer of Glyphosate activity, mainly in applications using medium hard or hard water. Designed to maximize the efficiency of the herbicide using the dose recommended by the manufacturers, so it is therefore unnecessary to add supplementary amounts to compensate the effectiveness lost for using hard water.

Properties: It induces GLYPHOSATE – NH4 compounds formation, which has high penetration, absorption and preferential translocation on tissues of the plant. It captures and immobilizes Ca ++ and Mg ++ cations from hard waters that inhibit Glyphosate action and other herbicides such as 2-4D Amine (Ca ++ and Mg ++ form salts with the SO4 ion = decreasing the possibility to merge with the glyphosate molecule or 2-4D). It regulates the pH of the solution at optimal levels. It reduces losses caused by washing.

Dose: From 1 litre/100 litres of water.

Mode of application:  Add the enhancer BEFORE adding Glyphosate. Fill the spray or supply tank with the water needed. Then add liquid ammonium sulfate in the recommended dose, shake until total dissolution (3 – 4 minutes). Finally add the recommended dose of Glyphosate and shake it to achieve a homogeneous solution. Avoid using surface waters (creeks, ponds, etc) as these waters usually have soil particles that inhibit Glyphosate action.
